  • We have positions available for a professional and efficient Licensing & Compliance Officer – Permanent Full Time

    This role is responsible for the

    • Carrying out monitoring and compliance functions of the Seabed Minerals Authority (SBMA)

    • Supports the effective regulation of SBM activities in the Cook Islands by ensuring compliance with legislation and working collaboratively with other government agencies to inspect the activities and vessels of SBM license holders.

  • We have a position available for a professional and efficient Policy & Legal Advisor – 6 month contract

    This role is responsible for:

    • Providing policy and legal functions within the Seabed Minerals Authority (SBMA) to support the development of the Seabed Minerals (SBM) Sector.

    • Responsible for developing evidence based policy and legal advice, drafting policies and legislative changes relating to the SBM Sector.
