The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation pursuant to its contract for the exploration for polymetallic sulphides with the Authority is offering four (4) theoretical training placements to candidates from developing States. 

In light of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the training will be conducted virtually during the fourth quarter of 2020 (second half of October – first half of November) under the programme “Study and development of mineral resources of the oceans - Exploration and exploitation of the mineral resources of the Ocean ” through the virtual platform of the St. Petersburg State University. The training will involve two lectures a day for approximately 1.5 hours each over a two-week period. Upon successful selection more information concerning admission and course outline will be provided.
